The ultra quiet machines for use in hospitals and clinics.
Some time ago, in close cooperation with a large contract cleaning company, Hako-Werke already developed the sound-proofed scrubber-drier Hakomatic B450/530, especially for use in hospitals, old peoples homes and other similar noise sensitive applications. These "whispering" scrubber-driers, based on standard models, run particulary quiet as a result of special constructive measures for active sound-proofing. Now the larger Hakomatic 655-855 machines have also been equipped with this special sound-proofing package.
The following special measures have been undertaken to actively sound-proof the machines:
1. The suction turbine has been capped
2. The used air hoses have been lined with sound absorbing material
An important part in noise reduction is also played by the use of microfibre pads instead of the conventional brushes. As a result, the "Hakomatics" have not been quieter by about half (measured at the operator's ear), but the noise emitted when cleaning has been classed as especially agreeable by critical observers. This means that there are now a total of five machines with working widths of 450-850mm available in this sound-proofed version.
A further advantage: On request, the machine can be labelled with the corresponding logos or stickers of the respective contract cleaning company.
Handy
Both the special hospital versions of the scrubber-driers, Hakomatic 450/530 and the Hakomatic 655-855 range, are equipped with a handy mop, maintianing bracket, and a special box to enable cleaning utensils to be transported.
