Autonomous cleaning with the Scrubmaster B75 i

The intelligent scrubber-drier

Due to the increasing shortage of skilled workers, recurring staff shortages and growing demands on employee safety in times of the Corona pandemic, more and more cleaning service providers and facilities are switching to using autonomous cleaning machines for daily cleaning tasks. With the Scrubmaster B75 i, Hako is already presenting the next generation of autonomous scrubber-driers as a prototype live at the Interclean 2022 in Amsterdam – for reliable, consistently good results with high cost efficiency.

The autonomous scrubber-drier Scrubmaster B75 i cleans taught routes independently, reliably and safely. The 3D camera system and certified LiDAR sensors enable efficient and safe navigation of the machine, which achieves a high cleaning coverage of up to 99 % by precisely following defined cleaning paths. Operation via the clearly arranged touchscreen is simple and intuitive.

This means that paths can be taught, saved and recalled quickly, easily and without any additional equipment, for example if the set-up or conditions on site have changed. Another advantage: For spontaneous cleaning operations outside the defined cleaning intervals, the Scrubmaster B75 i can also be used in manual mode as an ergonomic conventional walk-behind scrubber-drier.

Depending on the type of floor and the expected degree of soiling, the Scubmaster B75 i is available either as a version with disc brush system or with a cylindrical brush including two side brooms.

With a solution and recovery tank of 75 litres each, and area performance of up to 2,340 m2/h and a battery runtime of up to 3 hours, the autonomous system stands for high cleaning quality with innovative future technology

Autonomous cleaning – reliable and safe!

With integrated obstacle and fall detection as well as optical signals such as a flash light and LED strips, safety standards are fully complied with. When working in hygiene-sensitive areas such as hospitals or nursing homes, autonomous cleaning technology can also prevent cleaning staff from coming into contact with pathogens or having to spend a long time in areas that are potentially contaminated, because in autonomous mode, the machine cleans the same path every time without the need for human intervention.

The 8-inch TFT touchscreen panel clearly displays all operation-relevant information and features practical functions such as auto-fill and teach-and-repeat.

Hako stands for intelligent solutions and so the Scrubmaster B75 i is already prepared for further development steps. In order to relieve the skilled worker even more in the future, supplementary systems such as, for example, a docking station for battery charging, wastewater disposal and solution tank filling are already planned on the product as an interface and for further development towards complete autonomy.
