The facility cleaning industry is more and more discussing the question of whether meeting the requirements as per ‘Hazard Analysis for Critical Control Points (HACCP) and other hygiene requirements for scrubber-driers can be more easily fulfilled by equipping the machines with water tanks that prevent bacteria growth. As an answer to this question, we have developed Hako-AntiBac®, the antibacterial solution, and recovery tank.

Laboratory tests of the materials used by Hako, conducted in accordance with JIS Z 2801 (ISO 22196), resulted in a 99.9% reduction of different bacteria strains and mold fungus, showing that antibacterial tanks significantly reduce bacteria and fungus growth.
