Minuteman RoboScrub 20: Safe working also in complex environments

RoboScrub 20, the autonomous cleaning machine of Hako’s Minuteman brand, has already proven its efficiency in the field: from production halls and warehouses with many small aisles to large shopping centers.

Autonomous cleaning – with reliably good results!

This machine ensures intuitive operation and safely navigates around complex environments. Obstacles identified by the camera systems are translated into commands by the BrainOS® technology – for example, “circumnavigate obstacle” or “machine stop”. To carry out short interim
cleaning applications, RoboScrub 20 can also be used as a conventional ride-on scrubber-drier.

Sophisticated safety concept
The flashing beacon indicates an autonomously working machine. In case a critical situation occurs despite the integrated obstacle detection, emergency buttons next to the flashing beacon and on the operating panel allow rapid and uncomplicated stopping of the machine.

The sensors and cameras constantly monitor the machine’s surroundings and scan it for obstacles.
In situations where RoboScrub 20 cannot circumnavigate such obstacles, the machine stops automatically.

Future technology made easy

Even autonomous cleaning technology needs someone to operate it, so user-friendliness was a very important aspect when developing RoboScrub 20. The intuitive touch screen on the left gives the user access to all relevant machine information during autonomous working.

In addition, the user can select routes already learned by the machine or teach new routes while the machine is driving. The clearly structured operating console on the right ensures easy and intuitive control whenever RoboScrub 20 is operated manually.
